about me

Headshot of Sonja Colman

I have had an interest in healthy eating for over 35 years, and whilst I chose to become vegetarian in my teens, I believe this is a personal choice and work with clients who follow any diet.

After many years working in a corporate environment and battling to maintain a healthy lifestyle whilst travelling and working long hours, I am now finally following my passion in nutritional therapy and health coaching.

I have also completed a practical nutrition cookery course at the renowned Leith’s School of Food and Wine in West London, as I am also passionate about making change easy and real for people.

My focus is on healthy eating and well-being, using the tools of nutrition and coaching to help people understand any nutritional gaps they may have, how lifestyle choices can impact these and how to find practical ways to fill those gaps for a healthier life.

I believe in a holistic approach to looking after ourselves: our lifestyle choices, the food we eat and the exercise we take.  It is not about ‘diets’ or not having fun.

“The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.”

Ann Wigmore

I went to Sonja for nutritional advice since being put on new drugs and taking daily vitamins and supplements. My system was going haywire! From her research she found some of the vitamins worked against the drugs and advised me to speak to my consultant.  After stopping taking the supplements my system seems to be coping and feeling much better. Her advice, knowledge and help had been invaluable, I would not hesitate to recommend Sonja, thank you.

A conversation with Sonja will leave you with absolute clarity on what you need to do and why.

I've been putting off strength training for a while, and when I do, I hardly give it the real attention and time I needed to. Instead I'll take the comfortable option of hitting the road for a run. Yet I know I want to be stronger and have more muscle definition. She helped me to be clear on what I actually want to achieve and then actualize my steps towards it.

I'm now consistent as I hear her gentle and encouraging voice asking me why this is important to me.

Whatever your journey is, talk to Sonja. She will gently walk the journey with you.

I have had the privilege of being coached by Sonja; an empathetic, compassionate and beautiful soul of a lady who connected with me on so many levels that it feels like talking to an old friend!  She is kind, and selfless, but direct enough to keep you on track to realising and reaching your goals.  Sonja is extremely passionate about what she does, and you will find yourself a real gem when you decide to work with her!
